The Comstock Armory FHXL Extended Flash Hider is a 9mm muzzle device purpose-built for short-barrel pistol-caliber builds that need to reach the 16" overall length minimum when pinned and welded. As the extended member of Comstock's 9mm hider family, the FHXL adds the extra length needed to bring 13.7" and 13.9" barrels up to legal compliance without giving up the company's signature Plan-B suppressor compatibility.

Machined from high-strength 17-4 PH stainless steel and finished in a durable black nitride coating, this hider is built to handle sustained 9mm fire while resisting heat, corrosion, and wear. Standard 1/2x28 threads make it a direct fit for the most common 9mm pistol-caliber carbine and AR-pattern barrels, and the integrated Plan-B interface lets you quickly attach and remove compatible Rearden/Plan-B pattern suppressors without tools. Like the rest of the Comstock line, the FHXL directs expanding gases outward to reduce blast baffle wear on your suppressor.

The extended body is pre-drilled and ready to be pinned and welded to bring short 9mm barrels to the 16" legal minimum, making the FHXL a clean solution for fixed-barrel 9mm AR builds where a removable muzzle device is not desired.
