The Comstock Armory Compact Muzzle Brake is a low-profile recoil management device built around the company's popular Plan-B suppressor mounting system. Machined from high-strength 17-4 PH stainless steel and finished in a durable black nitride coating, this compact muzzle brake is engineered for hard use while resisting corrosion and wear at the muzzle end of the barrel.

Designed for .22 caliber use, the MBC-12-22 is compatible with .223 Remington, 5.56 NATO, and other .224 diameter bullet cartridges. It installs on any rifle barrel fitted with standard 1/2x28 threads. 3/4" wrench flats make installation and removal straightforward, and the device is rotationally symmetric so no timing or shimming is required. Comstock Armory recommends a torque of approximately 30 ft-lbs at install.

The compact form factor keeps overall length and weight to a minimum, and the MBC effectively reduces recoil while also cutting blast baffle wear on a paired suppressor.
