The CRKT SERO is a refined EDC folding knife designed by Richard Rogers that blends understated Art Deco styling with modern cutting performance. This 7170R variant pairs a high-visibility red textured glass-reinforced nylon (GRN) handle with a premium CPM S35VN stainless steel drop-point blade finished in a stealthy black titanium nitride (TiNi) coating, making it a confident daily-carry piece that disappears in the pocket until you need it.

At the heart of the SERO is a 3.02" drop-point blade ground from CPM S35VN steel with a plain edge. S35VN is prized for its excellent balance of edge retention, corrosion resistance, and toughness, while the black TiNi coating reduces glare and adds surface wear resistance to the working edge. Deployment is fast and intuitive thanks to the integrated flipper tab, and the blade is secured by a reliable crossbar lock mechanism that delivers positive lockup under use.

The handle is built around lightweight red textured GRN scales that provide secure grip without adding unnecessary bulk.
