The CRKT 4040 Provoke is a bold folding karambit-style knife built around Columbia River's innovative Kinematic deployment system. With a simple push of the thumb, the blade swings out from the handle in a fluid motion and locks firmly into place for immediate use. Closing is just as intuitive - a pull of the recessed lever retracts the blade safely back into the handle.

At the heart of the Provoke is a 2.41" hawkbill blade ground from D2 tool steel for excellent edge retention and durability. The blade wears a black Titanium Nitride (TiN) coating that adds corrosion resistance and a low-glare tactical finish.
