The Columbia River P.S.D. - which stands for Particle. Separation. Device. - is an assisted-opening everyday carry folding knife designed by Jim Hammond for CRKT (Columbia River Knife & Tool). Built for high-speed, high-efficiency cutting, the P.S.D. pairs a compact black carbon fiber over G10 handle with a full-length 3.63" recurve harpoon blade ground from 4116 stainless steel and finished in a clean satin.

The blade rides on CRKT's IKBS ball-bearing pivot system for ultra-smooth flipper deployment, with an internal spring assist for lightning-fast one-handed opening. A liner lock secures the blade open, while an electric blue pivot collar and pocket clip add a sharp visual accent to the otherwise all-black handle. The compact 4.59" closed length and 4.60 oz carry weight make the P.S.D. comfortable for daily pocket carry, and the plain edge profile delivers clean slicing performance across utility, EDC, and general outdoor cutting tasks.
