The blade is crafted from D2 tool steel with a tough black oxide finish, delivering the wear resistance and edge retention expected from a high-carbon tool steel. A flat front chisel grind pairs with a gently curved leading edge, giving the Razel a utilitarian cutting character that makes it a natural fit for rope work, box cutting, and general EDC utility tasks.
