The Columbia River CRKT 5102NK Snap Lock is a compact folding pocket knife designed by knifemaker Ed Van Hoy and built around the distinctive lever-actuated Snap Lock opening system. The blade is a 2.55" drop point profile in 420J2 stainless steel with a non-reflective Black TiNi (titanium nitride) coating and a plain edge for clean, controlled cuts.

The frame is a matching stainless steel wishbone also finished in Black TiNi, which doubles as a fully effective blade-edge guard when the knife is closed. The Snap Lock lever at the pivot snaps the blade open with a positive click and locks it firmly in place, then releases cleanly with one hand for safe closure.
