The CRKT Minimalist Cleaver (model 2383) is a compact fixed blade neck knife designed by custom knifemaker Alan Folts and built by Columbia River Knife & Tool. Sized for everyday carry but built for real outdoor use, the Minimalist series is purpose-built for utility cutting tasks, camp chores, food prep, and small precision work where a full-size blade is overkill.

The 2.13" cleaver blade is crafted from 5Cr15MoV high-carbon stainless steel with a bead blasted finish that minimizes reflectivity. The cleaver profile features a safe false front edge that rips through food packets, cordage, and clothing without the danger of an aggressive point, while the full-tang construction delivers the strength and balance expected of a working fixed blade.

The handle is built around green contoured resin-infused fiber scales with sculpted finger grooves for a secure grip during detail work.
