Colt Mfg Government 1911 38 Super 5" 9+1 Semi-Auto Pistol - Royal Blue Rosewood

The Colt Government 1911 in .38 Super is a classic American semi-auto pistol built on Colt's traditional single-stack steel frame with a 5" barrel and a 9+1 detachable magazine. The O1911C38RB configuration wears Colt's signature Royal Blue finish and is fitted with traditional double-diamond Rosewood grip panels accented by a gold Colt medallion.

The .38 Super chambering has long been a favorite for competition shooting, and the Government Model's 5" barrel makes the most of the cartridge's flat trajectory and velocity. This pistol uses the traditional Series 70 firing system with a crisp single-action trigger pull. Overall length measures 8.5", and the detachable single-stack magazine holds 9 rounds plus one in the chamber for a 9+1 capacity.

Standard 1911 controls are all present, including a frame-mounted manual thumb safety, grip safety, and slide stop. The pistol is equipped with fixed iron sights. The frame, slide, and barrel are all carbon steel, finished in Colt's polished Royal Blue.
