The Colt Gold Cup Trophy is a full-size, competition-ready 1911-style semi-automatic pistol chambered in 9mm Luger. Built on a polished stainless steel frame and matched with a stainless steel slide that carries a beavertail extension, the Gold Cup Trophy refines the classic Government Model 1911 lines into a modern match-grade shooting platform.

A 5" National Match stainless steel barrel anchors the gun, giving the Gold Cup Trophy the accuracy foundation serious competition shooters expect from the line. The slide is optic ready and features front and rear serrations for positive manipulation during press checks, malfunction clearing, and reloads.

The SAO (single-action-only) trigger is paired with an ambidextrous thumb/grip safety, making this Gold Cup equally at home for right- and left-handed competitors. 25 LPI checkering on the front and back strap locks the pistol into the shooter's hand under recoil, while blue G10 grips deliver a confident, repeatable hold during long range sessions. A beveled magazine well supports fast, positive reloads on the clock, and the pistol ships with a 10+1 detachable magazine ready for competition or range use.
