The Colt Mfg Gold Cup Trophy in .45 ACP is Colt's premier 1911-style competition pistol. Built around a full-size 5" National Match barrel and a single-stack 8+1 magazine, the Gold Cup Trophy delivers the accuracy, balance, and trigger pull that competitive .45 ACP shooters expect from Colt's flagship 1911.

This configuration is built on a stainless steel frame and slide with serrations on the slide for positive manipulations. The frame carries an extended beavertail grip safety and ambidextrous controls for versatile handling, and the SAO (Single Action Only) action feeds through a beveled magazine well for fast, positive reloads under time pressure.

The redesigned Gold Cup adds refined competition ergonomics: 25 LPI checkering on the front strap and back strap for a secure grip, the Series 70 Wide Target trigger tuned between 4 and 6 pounds, and an adjustable target sight for dialing in point of aim and impact. The polished 5" National Match barrel is purpose-built for precision.

Finished throughout in stainless steel and balanced at approximately 38 ounces unloaded, this Gold Cup Trophy is a complete, competition-grade .45 ACP 1911 ready for bullseye, steel, and action-pistol competition as well as range and defensive use.
