Colt Mfg CR6960 Midlength 5.56 NATO 16.1" 30+1 Semi-Auto Rifle

The Colt Mfg CR6960 Midlength Carbine is an AR-style semi-automatic rifle chambered for 5.56x45mm NATO and 223 Remington. Its mid-length configuration, flat-top receiver and extended M-LOK handguard provide a configurable modern sporting carbine for range use and accessory-equipped setups.

The carbine uses a mid-length direct-impingement gas system and a 16.1" chrome-lined, lightweight M4-profile barrel, placing it within the specified 16" to 16.99" barrel length range. The barrel has a 1:7 right-hand twist, and an A2 flash hider is installed on the 1/2x28 threaded muzzle.

Both the upper and lower receivers are made from 7075-T6 aluminum and wear a matte black anodized finish. The flat-top upper incorporates a MIL-STD-1913 Picatinny optics rail, while the extended Centurion Arms free-floating aluminum M-LOK handguard provides mounting space for compatible accessories. The sight configuration is Optic Ready, and no sights are included.

Black furniture includes a six-position collapsible polymer stock and polymer pistol grip. The rifle is configured for right-handed use, weighs 5.95 lbs and has a 30+1 capacity. One 30-round AR-style magazine is included.

This new Colt carbine combines the familiar AR-15/M4 layout with a lightweight barrel, mid-length gas system and extended free-floating handguard.
