The Colt Combat Unit (CCU) Government is a purpose-built 1911 platform developed with input from U.S. Special Forces trainers and chambered in .45 ACP. Built on Colt's iconic Government-length frame, it pairs a 5" stainless steel National Match barrel with a serrated stainless steel slide and frame finished in matte black DLC for a low-glare, duty-ready look. The single-action-only trigger and 8+1 capacity deliver classic 1911 handling, while Novak front and rear sights provide a clean, snag-free sight picture for defensive or precision use.

An ambidextrous extended thumb safety and grip safety make the CCU equally comfortable for right- and left-handed shooters. Black scalloped G10 grips offer a confident, textured hold in adverse conditions. The pistol weighs 40 oz and measures 8.5" overall. Ships with two 8-round magazines.
