Colt Mfg AR6951 M4 Carbine 9mm Luger 16.1" 32+1 Semi-Auto Rifle

The Colt AR6951 M4 Carbine is an AR-pattern, M4-style pistol-caliber carbine chambered in 9mm Luger. Its semi-auto, straight-blowback action operates from a closed bolt, while the 32+1-round capacity suits personal protection, sporting and range use.

The 16.1" barrel, within the 16" to 16.99" barrel-length range, is made from 4150 CMV steel with a manganese-phosphate exterior and chrome-lined bore. Six-groove, 1:10 right-hand rifling is paired with an A2-style flash hider. The barrel assembly also incorporates a front barrel lug.

The upper and lower receivers are constructed from 7075-T6 aluminum with a black hard-coat anodized finish. The carbine has a black metal finish in the Blued/Black metal-finish group. A flat-top upper receiver provides an optics-mounting surface. Furniture includes a black M4-style 4-position collapsible stock in the black stock-finish group, an A2-pattern black polymer grip and dual-heat-shield handguards.

Overall length is 31.5" with the stock retracted and 35" with the stock extended. Unloaded weight is 6.35 lbs, placing this configuration within the 6 lbs to 6.99 lbs weight range.

The sighting system combines a fixed A2 front sight with an adjustable folding Magpul MBUS rear sight. Controls include a single-stage trigger and reversible lever safety selector, with the listed carbine configured for right-handed use. Additional features include an ejection-port cover and cartridge-case deflector. The carbine can be field-stripped without special tools.

This New Colt carbine includes one 32-round magazine, an owner's manual and a cable lock.
