The Colt Anaconda is a large-frame, six-shot double-action revolver chambered in .44 Magnum. Built around Colt's heavy steel frame and traditional double-action/single-action lockwork, the Anaconda handles full-power .44 Magnum loads with the heft, sight radius, and accuracy expected of a premium hunting revolver.

This BP8WTS configuration pairs an 8" vent rib barrel with a matching cylinder finished in blued steel. The full-length vent rib aids heat dissipation across extended strings of magnum fire and provides a clean, glare-free sighting plane. An interchangeable front sight pairs with an adjustable rear sight for precise shot placement at distance, and the frame is drilled and tapped to accept scope mount bases for dedicated optics use.

The DA/SA mechanism offers a smooth double-action pull for rapid fire and a crisp single-action for precision work, controlled by an exposed hammer. Hogue finger-groove grips provide a secure, comfortable hold through heavy magnum recoil, while the large steel frame adds the mass that tames .44 Magnum recoil and contributes to inherent accuracy at distance.
