The Colt 1911 Government is a .45 ACP single-action pistol built on the classic 1911 platform. This configuration, the O1911CBS, pairs a 5" barrel with an 8+1 capacity in a polished bright stainless steel package designed for range, carry, and home defense.

The pistol is built around a bright stainless steel frame fitted with an extended beavertail, paired with a matching bright stainless serrated slide that reduces glare and aids press checks. The slide carries traditional fixed iron sights for a low-profile, snag-free sight picture. Standard single-action operation provides the crisp, consistent trigger pull that made the 1911 a legend.

Colt finishes the O1911CBS with classic checkered rosewood grips for a traditional look and confident hold. The all-stainless construction resists corrosion and makes for a durable, easy-to-maintain pistol weighing approximately 35 ounces unloaded.
