Colt LE6940 5.56 NATO 16.1" 30+1 Quad Rail Semi-Auto Carbine

The Colt LE6940 is the Advanced Law Enforcement Carbine from Colt, a direct-gas-operated semi-automatic rifle chambered in 5.56x45mm NATO (also safe with .223 Remington) and built on the proven M4 carbine platform.

At the heart of this rifle is a 16.1" heavy chrome-lined barrel with a 1:7 rifling twist, optimized for the wide range of duty, defensive, and range ammunition commonly run in 5.56/.223. The barrel sits inside a true free-floating continuous picatinny quad rail handguard, providing a full-length mounting surface for lights, lasers, foregrips, bipods, and other accessories without affecting barrel harmonics.

The LE6940 is finished in matte black and ships with flip-up front and rear iron sights already installed on the rail. Controls follow the standard AR-15/M4 manual of arms, and the carbine is fitted with a 4-position collapsible stock for adjustable length-of-pull. Overall length runs 32" with the stock collapsed and extends to 35.5" fully extended, with an unloaded weight of approximately 6.85 lbs.
