The Cole-Tac SD Handguard Wrap is a 6.5" long, no-slot heat shield designed to slip over the free-float handguard of an AR-style rifle and protect the shooter's support hand during sustained fire. Built from two layers of laser-cut Squadron material laminated together, this wrap adds durable insulation with a clean matte finish and no pass-through slots to interfere with grip or hand position.

Cut to fit standard 6.5" rifle handguards, the wrap installs easily without modifying the firearm. The dual-layer Squadron construction is purpose-made to reduce heat transfer from the barrel and handguard while adding a layer of comfort and grip texture for the support hand. Its Coyote Brown color and low-profile, no-slot design make it well-suited to rifles running clamp-on accessories or full-length top rails where uninterrupted indexing matters.
