The Cold Steel Tactical Wakizashi is a modern tactical machete styled after the classic Japanese Wakizashi, packing serious cutting capability into a compact, easily-carried package. Built for outdoor work, brush clearing, camp chores, and tactical applications, it delivers the reach and chopping power of a short sword in a modern, durable package.

At the heart of the machete is an 18" blade forged from 1055 carbon steel and finished with a black matte baked-on anti-rust coating for long-lasting corrosion resistance in harsh weather and heavy use. The full-tang blade is injection over-molded with a high-impact black polypropylene handle that is virtually indestructible and weather resistant, giving you a sure grip in wet or dirty conditions.

Weighing in at 25.10 oz with an overall length of 25", the Tactical Wakizashi delivers excellent chopping power in a more compact profile than a full-length katana. A rugged Cor-Ex sheath is included for safe carry and storage.
