The Cold Steel FGX Boot Blade I is a fixed boot dagger from Cold Steel's Nightshade Series - a line of non-metallic weapons molded from advanced polymers that deliver the look, feel, and utility of a real blade in environments where steel cannot be carried, such as through metal detectors or inside facilities that prohibit conventional blades.

The 5" blade is molded from Griv-Ex, a glass-reinforced polymer finished in a low-glare black coating, and carries a plain edge for clean cuts. The handle is molded from black checkered Kray-Ex, a tacky thermoplastic that Cold Steel casts directly onto the blade tangs for a secure, slightly tacky grip even in wet conditions.
