The Cold Steel Recon Tanto CS92R13RT rubber training knife is built for safe, realistic self-defense practice. Modeled after Cold Steel's popular fixed-blade Recon Tanto, this trainer lets students and instructors run contact drills, disarms, and scenario work without the risk of a live blade.

The 7" tanto-profile blade and full-length handle are molded from Santoprene - a soft, durable thermoplastic rubber chosen for realistic flex and impact absorption. A plain edge preserves the look and profile of the production blade so draw and angle practice feel authentic.

At 11.75" overall with a 4.75" handle and a weight of just 3.10 oz, the trainer matches the balance and proportions of the production Recon Tanto for accurate technique transfer. The all-black rubber construction is built to take repeated strikes against pads, hard surfaces, and partner gear.

Manufactured in Taiwan to Cold Steel's specifications, the CS92R13RT is intended as a training aid only - the Santoprene edge is intentionally dull and is not designed for cutting tasks.
