The Cold Steel Master Hunter is a purpose-built, full-tang fixed blade hunting knife designed for serious big-game field work. The 36CB pairs a tough, premium steel with a high-traction handle in a platform built to skin, dress, and process heavy game in rough conditions.

At its core is a 4.5" drop point blade ground from American CPM 3V high carbon tool steel, a particle-metallurgy formula engineered for outstanding toughness and edge retention under impact. The blade is given a stonewashed finish that hides scratches from hard use in the field and runs at a robust 3/16" blade thickness for serious chopping and prying work behind a plain edge.

The handle is shaped for a confident, full-hand grip and molded from black Kray-Ex, Cold Steel's high-grade synthetic rubber that mimics the feel of classic stacked leather washers while delivering modern grip security in wet, cold, or bloody conditions. Handle length is 4-3/4", putting total overall length at 9.25" with a working weight of 6.4 oz.

Built as a no-frills working hunter, the Master Hunter ships with a fitted molded polymer Secure-Ex sheath ready for belt carry right out of the box.
