Cold Steel 90PHH Pipe Hawk 22" Drop Forged 1055 Carbon Steel

The Cold Steel 90PHH Pipe Hawk is a compact tomahawk purpose-built for outdoor utility and throwing. At 28 oz with an overall length of 22", it pairs a drop forged 1055 carbon steel head with a traditional straight-grained American Hickory handle.

The head is forged from a single piece of 1055 carbon steel and is differentially heat treated, giving the 3" primary cutting edge a hard, edge-retaining grind while the body and solid hammer poll remain tough and impact resistant. Measuring 7.5" end to end with a long, reasonably wide cutting profile, the head is finished in black.

The 22" American Hickory handle is securely mounted through the eye of the hawk head. It absorbs shock, provides good snap for chopping and throwing, and is comfortable to wield for extended use. The balance of weight and length gives this pipe hawk a controllable, capable feel whether used as a utility axe or a throwing hawk.
