The CobraTec California OTF 952 Gen II is a California-compliant out-the-front automatic knife built on CobraTec's second-generation 952 platform. The dual-action OTF mechanism slides the blade forward and retracts it through a single side-mounted switch, delivering true out-the-front automatic action tailored for jurisdictions where standard OTF autos are restricted.

A 1.75-inch drop point blade is ground from D2 tool steel, a high-carbon semi-stainless steel chosen for its excellent edge retention and wear resistance. The blade deploys and retracts via the dual-action sliding mechanism for rapid one-handed operation.

The grey anodized 6061-T6 aluminum handle is CNC machined for a precise fit and finished with an anodized coating that resists scratches and corrosion. At just 1.5 ounces with a closed length near 3.0 inches and an overall length of approximately 5.0625 inches, the 952 Gen II carries light and disappears in the pocket. A pre-installed pocket clip supports tip-up carry for fast, dependable access.
