The CMMG Dissent MK47 is a semi-automatic rifle chambered in 7.62x39mm, blending the familiar ergonomics of the AR platform with the larger bolt and magazine-well geometry needed to run the Soviet-pattern cartridge. The Dissent line is built around CMMG's patent-pending Compact Action, a short-stroke direct-impingement operating system that trims overall length and weight compared to a traditional AR-pattern rifle while keeping standard AR controls.

This MK47 configuration features a 16.1" barrel with a 1:10 rifling twist, optimized to stabilize a broad spread of 7.62x39mm bullet weights from lighter varmint-style projectiles through heavier supersonic loads. The barrel and receiver wear CMMG's Midnight Bronze finish for a distinctive low-glare look and added corrosion resistance.

The rifle is set up for 30-round detachable 7.62x39mm magazines, giving it a 30+1 capacity, and ships as a full long gun with an overall length of 26.70" and a total weight of 7.70 lbs.
