The Cimarron Frontier Pre-War is a single-action revolver chambered in .44-40 Winchester, drawn from the classic pre-1896 Single Action Army pattern. The "PW" frame designation carries the pre-war frame and ejector rod assembly that defined the original cartridge-era Colt.

This Frontier wears a 5.5" barrel with a blued finish and holds 6 rounds of .44-40. The frame carries the signature color case hardened finish that gives each example its own subtly mottled pattern, while a one-piece walnut grip fills the hand in the classic plow-handle profile. Fixed sights keep the sighting picture traditional to the Old West carry. Overall length runs 14.35".
