The Cimarron 1860 Richards-Mason Type II is a faithful single-action reproduction of one of the most historically significant American percussion-to-cartridge conversions. Chambered in .45 Long Colt, this six-shooter pairs an 8" barrel with a classic walnut grip and a brilliant nickel-plated finish that recalls the polished sidearms carried by officers, cavalrymen, and plainsmen of the late 19th century.

The Richards-Mason Type II conversion upgraded the original percussion Colt 1860 Army to metallic cartridge use by combining the early Richards ejector with the Richards-Mason conversion ring, loading gate, and modified hammer. Cimarron's detail-accurate replica preserves that configuration faithfully, delivering a true SAO revolver that functions as a drop-in upgrade to the original cap-and-ball design while remaining mechanically authentic to its 19th-century predecessor.
