The Cimarron 1860 Henry Civilian revives the iconic Civil War-era lever-action rifle that earned its place as the gun that won the West. Chambered in .45 Colt (Long Colt), this faithful reproduction is built on the original Henry design with a traditional brass frame and a stainless steel receiver, paired with a classic walnut fixed stock for an authentic 19th-century silhouette.
A lever-action rifle with a 24" blued octagon barrel, the 1860 Henry Civilian feeds from a 12-round tubular magazine plus one in the chamber for a 12+1 capacity. The barrel runs a 1:16" twist and is topped with adjustable sights for both period-correct iron-sight shooting and modern zeroing. Overall length measures 45.50", with a weight in the 9 lbs to 9.99 lbs range. The right-hand configuration places the operating controls exactly where a right-handed shooter expects them.
The Civilian configuration distinguishes this model from the iron-framed military-issue Henry and represents the most authentic reproduction of the brass-receiver rifles sold on the civilian market in the 1860s. With its blued octagon barrel, brass frame, and walnut stock, the CA288 is purpose-built for Cowboy Action Shooting, historical reenactment, and collectors of classic American lever-action rifles.
