The Chipmunk 40001 Hunter is a compact, manually cocked single-shot bolt-action pistol purpose-built for younger shooters, first-time gun owners, and small-game hunting. Chambered in the versatile .22 S/L/LR family, the Hunter accepts .22 Short, .22 Long, and .22 Long Rifle cartridges from the same chamber, giving shooters a wide range of affordable rimfire ammunition options in one simple platform.

Built around a 9" threaded blued steel barrel factory-cut with 1/2"-28 threads and a protective thread cap, this Hunter pairs a precision barrel with a traditional walnut youth-size frame. The simple manual-cocking bolt, single-shot capacity, and rebounding firing-pin safety make this pistol exceptionally easy and safe to operate. At just 2.36 lbs and an overall length of 17.5", the Hunter is light and compact enough for smaller-framed shooters while still delivering the accuracy expected of a Chipmunk.

An EZ Loader is included to simplify single-round feeding, and the factory-threaded barrel accepts a compatible muzzle accessory where local regulations permit.
