Chiappa X-Caliber 12GA to 45 ACP Gauge Adapter Insert - 8 in Rifled

The Chiappa X-Caliber is a 12 Gauge to .45 ACP gauge adapter insert that lets you fire .45 ACP ammunition from any break-open shotgun chambered in 12 gauge. Part of Chiappa's modular X-Caliber conversion system, this single-caliber insert drops into the chamber and uses a fully rifled bore to stabilize pistol-caliber projectiles, giving a break-action shotgun a second purpose with inexpensive, easy-to-find handgun ammunition.

Constructed from steel with a blued finish, the insert measures 8 inches overall and is machined with a fully rifled bore for accurate stabilization of .45 ACP bullets. It is designed for use with any break-open shotgun, and Chiappa recommends a shotgun equipped with an extractor for reliable spent-case ejection. The adapter relies on the host shotgun's existing firing pin and trigger, so no permanent modifications are required.
