Chiappa Firearms X-Caliber 12GA/.380 ACP Gauge Adapter Insert

The Chiappa X-Caliber gauge adapter insert lets a 12 gauge break-open shotgun chamber and fire .380 ACP ammunition with a simple drop-in swap. Manufactured in Italy by Chiappa Firearms, the insert is constructed from steel with a blued finish and is designed for use with any break-open shotgun equipped with an extractor.

The X-Caliber drops into the 12 gauge chamber and presents a fully rifled, single-shot .380 ACP bore, measuring approximately 9" overall. Manual feed and manual extraction keep operation straightforward - simply open the action to load a round and to retrieve the spent case. This makes the X-Caliber an inexpensive, low-recoil way to add a pistol-caliber option to an existing 12 gauge break-action shotgun for plinking and training at the range.
