The Chiappa Firearms Rhino Match Master is a target-grade .38 Special revolver built around Chiappa's distinctive Rhino platform, with its signature low-cylinder/barrel alignment designed to reduce felt muzzle rise. This Match Master configuration pairs a 6-inch vent-rib steel barrel with a matching steel cylinder, both finished in a durable Gray PVD coating.

The revolver rides on a lightweight Gray PVD aluminum-alloy frame that holds total weight to roughly 2.90 lbs. It runs on a classic double-action/single-action mechanism fed by a 6-shot cylinder and is topped with Chiappa's Airstocrat front and rear sight pair for a generous sight radius. A snag-resistant exposed hammer functions as a cocking device on this design, and overall length measures 10.50 inches.
