The Chiappa Firearms Rhino 60DS Gen II is a distinctive 9mm Luger revolver built around Chiappa's signature low-bore-axis design. By aligning the barrel with the bottom chamber of the cylinder rather than the top, the Rhino reduces felt recoil and muzzle rise, keeping the sights on target for faster, more controlled follow-up shots.

This 60DS Gen II variant pairs a 6" barrel with an overall length of 10.50", chambered in 9mm Luger with a 6-shot capacity and a true double-action-only (DAO) trigger. The aluminum frame is finished in Slate Cerakote, matched to a steel barrel in matching Slate Cerakote and a black-finished cylinder. An exposed hammer completes the classic revolver profile.

Aiming is handled by a fiber-optic front sight paired with an adjustable rear sight, while the black and gray finger-grooved laminate grip delivers a secure, ergonomic hold. At 32 oz unloaded, the Rhino 60DS Gen II sits in a comfortable mid-weight range that tames recoil without becoming burdensome at the range.
