The Chiappa Firearms Rhino 50DS is a distinctive medium-frame revolver chambered in .357 Magnum. The Rhino's signature design aligns the barrel with the bottom chamber of the cylinder and the shooter's hand, dramatically reducing muzzle flip and felt recoil compared to conventional revolvers.

This 357 Mag configuration wears a 5" nickel-plated steel barrel topped with a full vent rib for a clean sight picture and a matching nickel-plated steel cylinder holding 6 rounds. The lightweight nickel-plated aluminum alloy frame and barrel shroud keep carry weight down to roughly 31.5 oz, while the rugged construction handles a steady diet of magnum loads.

Shooting controls include a traditional double-action/single-action action with an exposed hammer for deliberate single-strike capability and a smooth double-action pull for rapid follow-ups.
