The Chiappa Firearms Rhino 40DS is a distinctive medium-frame revolver chambered in 9mm Luger with a 4" barrel and a 6-shot cylinder, designed for personal protection and sport shooting.

Built around Chiappa's signature low-bore-axis design, the Rhino places the barrel alignment with the shooter's hand to reduce felt recoil and muzzle flip. The DA/SA action drives a black anodized steel vent-rib barrel paired with a blued steel cylinder, all mounted on a lightweight black anodized aluminum frame that keeps carry weight at 29.92 oz and overall length at 8.50".

The 40DS continues Chiappa's lineage of concealed-hammer revolvers, featuring a snag-resistant concealed hammer profile that draws cleanly from cover garments. The grip is dressed with classic walnut panels, and targeting is handled by a fixed fiber optic front paired to an adjustable fiber optic rear sight for quick, intuitive acquisition. Moon clips for fast reloads are included with the revolver.
