Chiappa Firearms 1911-22 22 LR 5" 10+1 SAO Pistol - OD Green

The Chiappa Firearms 1911-22 brings the classic 1911 platform down to the easy-shooting, inexpensive 22 LR rimfire cartridge. Chambered in 22 LR and built around a 5" barrel with a 10+1 single-stack magazine, this SAO pistol is the same overall size and uses the same controls as a genuine Government Model 1911, giving 1911 owners a natural trainer and plinker with the familiar manual of arms.

The Zamak frame is finished in OD Green and styled as a beavertail frame that promotes a high, controllable grip. Up top, the serrated steel slide is finished to match in OD Green and rides on fixed sights. Controls include a manual thumb safety in the classic 1911 position, and the pistol wears Black Hogue rubber finger-grooved grips for a secure, comfortable hold. At 33.60 oz, the 1911-22 carries like a full-size Government 1911 rather than a featherweight rimfire, which keeps the recoil impulse and sight picture honest for practice.

Purpose-built for Personal Protection/Sport use, the 1911-22 measures 12.2" in overall length with a 2.8" height, matching Government 1911 dimensions. The pistol ships with two magazines so you can keep one loaded on the bench while the other feeds through a pack of plinking ammo.
