Chiappa Firearms 1887 12 Gauge 22" 5+1 Lever Action Shotgun

The Chiappa Firearms 1887 is a modern reproduction of the legendary Winchester Model 1887 lever-action shotgun, the only factory-produced lever-action smoothbore shotgun of its era. Built by Chiappa Firearms in Italy and chambered in 12 Gauge with a 2.75" chamber, this shotgun pairs a classic lever-action mechanism with period-correct styling and modern manufacturing quality for a reliable, distinctive shooting platform.

At its core is a 22" smoothbore blued steel barrel mated to a color case hardened steel receiver, capturing the traditional old-west aesthetic the 1887 is famous for. The barrel is threaded for the included MobilChoke system and ships with three flush-fit choke tubes: F (Full), M (Modified), and IC (Improved Cylinder), giving shooters versatile patterning options for hunting and clay shooting alike.

The 1887 carries a 5+1 capacity in its internal magazine tube, feeding standard 2.75" 12-gauge shells. A single-stage trigger and integrated hammer safety keep controls familiar and dependable, while a traditional bead sight sits at the muzzle for quick target acquisition in the field or on the range.

Handling is anchored by a hand-oiled European walnut stock and forend finished in a rich brown tone, paired with a fixed buttstock for a classic shotgun feel. At 39" overall length and approximately 9 lbs, the 1887 balances naturally from the right-hand shoulder for both hunting and target applications.
