The Chiappa Firearms 1886 Wildlands Takedown is a modern, takedown-configured reproduction of the classic Winchester 1886 lever-action rifle, chambered in the hard-hitting 45-70 Government cartridge. It rides on a steel receiver finished in matte black and topped with an integrated Picatinny rail, letting you mount a red dot or riflescope directly on the action.

The 16.5" steel barrel is also matte black and is threaded 5/8x24 for a muzzle brake or other accessory, with a 1:18" twist suited to the broad range of projectiles available in 45-70 Gov. Sighting is handled by a fixed fiber optic front paired with a Skinner rear sight for fast target acquisition in the field, and the rail is ready to host magnified glass for longer shots.

A true takedown design, the rifle breaks down quickly for transport and storage, making it a natural choice for hunters and guides carrying a powerful lever gun into the backcountry.
