The Chiappa Firearms 1886 Kodiak is a rugged lever-action rifle chambered in the hard-hitting .45-70 Gov. Built around the time-tested 1886 action, this Kodiak variant pairs an 18.5" barrel and a 4+1 tube-fed capacity with a stainless steel receiver treated with a matte chrome coating for serious corrosion resistance in tough field conditions.

Feeding from an internal magazine tube, the rifle uses a traditional lever-action cycling system in a right-hand configuration. The black rubber-coated walnut stock gives the Kodiak its distinctive look while adding grip security in wet or cold weather.
