The Charles Daly 601 is a semi-automatic 12 Gauge shotgun built around a gas-operated action and chambered for 3" shells. A practical, value-priced platform for the dove field, sporting clays, and general upland hunting, the 601 pairs proven semi-auto operation with classic field styling.

The 28" barrel is made of blued steel and topped with a vent rib that aids heat dissipation while providing a clean sight plane. A brass bead front sight sits at the muzzle, and the barrel is threaded for the widely supported Beretta/Benelli Mobile Choke (MC-3) pattern, shipping with IC, M, and F choke tubes included.

The receiver is machined from lightweight black anodized aluminum, giving the action corrosion resistance and a svelte profile. A manual safety, single trigger, and gas-operated bolt cycle complete the controls, feeding from an under-barrel magazine tube that holds 4+1 rounds total.

Traditional checkered hardwood furniture gives the 601 its field-friendly character. The shoulder stock and matching forend are checkered for positive grip in wet weather and pair handsomely with the blued barrel and anodized receiver.
