CCI Blazer Brass is a line of brass-cased handgun ammunition from CCI, designed for target practice and range training. This load is chambered in 38 Special and pushes a 125 grain Full Metal Jacket (FMJ) bullet to a muzzle velocity of 865 fps and muzzle energy of 205 ft lbs from a 4-inch test barrel.

The Blazer Brass line uses brass cases (not aluminum, as the Blazer Aluminum line does), making the spent brass suitable for handloaders who want to reload. The 125 grain FMJ bullet is well-suited for paper targets, plinking, and general range practice, and is not intended for self-defense or hunting, where expanding bullet designs would be more appropriate.
