Each shotshell carries a 110 grain payload of No. 4 lead shot, delivering more energy and longer effective range than conventional handgun birdshot loads while keeping patterns tight enough for predator and pest work at handgun ranges.

CCI's Big 4 line was developed to give handgun shooters a real pest control option for coyote, fox, and similar-sized critters. The aluminum case keeps each shotshell lightweight and corrosion-resistant, and the load drives the No. 4 payload at a muzzle velocity of 1000 fps for 244 ft lbs of muzzle energy. As is standard for shotshell ammunition, these are non-reloadable. The shotshells are factory packed in reusable boxes of 10 rounds with 20 boxes per case for a total of 200 rounds.
