The Case Hunter 00189 is a traditional American folding pocket knife built around a pair of full-size blades - a 4.10" Clip Point and a matching 4.10" Skinner - both forged from Tru-Sharp surgical stainless steel with a plain edge and a clean as-ground finish. The dual-blade configuration pairs a versatile multi-purpose clip point with a sweeping skinner, giving you a single folder that covers everyday cutting chores and field-dressing work without changing knives.
Both blades ride on the classic nail nick opening of a traditional slip-joint pattern, with no springs or locks - just the time-tested back spring pressure that has defined Case folders for generations. Closed length is a pocket-friendly 5.25", and overall open length stretches to 9.35", with the knife weighing 7.50 oz ready to carry. Two blades, same length, same steel - the kind of balanced, no-nonsense pattern that made the Folding Hunter a staple of the Case Standard Jig line.
The handle scales are jigged Rosewood, giving the folder a warm, working-knife character with the texture and contrast Case is known for. A leather sheath is included for belt carry, and the knife is finished in Bradford, Pennsylvania, USA by Case.
