The Skeet constriction is matched to close-range, second-shot-style presentations, and the Sporting Clay series pairs that with a roughly 25% longer parallel section than standard chokes. The longer parallel section produces noticeably tighter and more consistent shot patterns at typical sporting-clays distances, and the tube is fully compatible with lead, copper-plated, nickel, Hevi-Shot, bismuth, tungsten, and steel shot so the same choke can be used with virtually any shell.
