Carlsons Hammer Expander Blued - Fits T/C Contender & Exposed Hammer Firearms

The Carlsons Hammer Expander is a compact, purpose-built accessory that gives shooters with exposed-hammer firearms a much easier and more positive surface to cock. Designed to slip over the existing hammer spur, the expander adds length and surface area, making it dramatically simpler to thumb the hammer back with either hand.

This blued version is machined from lightweight aluminum and given a dark blued/black anodized finish. At just 1.5" long and .375" in diameter, the expander adds meaningful leverage without dramatically altering the feel or balance of the host firearm. The internal hammer slot measures .508" wide by .190" high, sized to fit standard exposed-hammer profiles.

The ambidextrous design provides equal ease of cocking for both left- and right-handed shooters. Carlsons rates this as a one-size-fits-all fitment for Thompson/Center Contenders and the majority of exposed-hammer rifles, shotguns, and handguns.
