Carlsons machines this extended choke tube from 17-4 heat-treated stainless steel for corrosion resistance and long service life, then finishes it in a non-reflective matte blued coating to cut glare in the field. As an extended design, the tube protrudes approximately 1 inch beyond the muzzle, helping prevent shot-pattern deformation from the barrel wall and improving shot-to-shot consistency.
