The Carlsons 870 Replacement Barrel is a 12 Gauge drop-in barrel purpose-built for the Remington 870 pump-action shotgun. Machined from certified ordnance-grade steel and finished in a non-reflective matte blued coating, this 18.5" barrel offers a clean, tactical profile without a vent rib, keeping the sighting plane low and snag-free.

A ramped front sight is installed at the muzzle, giving a co-witness-ready aiming reference for use with bead optics or iron sights alone. The barrel is chambered for 3" shells, so it safely digests standard 2 3/4" target loads up through full-power 3" magnums and tactical buck/slug rounds. Carlson ships the barrel with a pre-installed Breecher Rem choke tube manufactured from 17-4 stainless steel, optimized for close-quarters work, door-breaching applications, and single-projectile defensive patterns.
