The Carlsons 20 Gauge Invector Rifled Choke Tube drops into a standard Invector-choked shotgun and turns a smoothbore into a slug-shooting platform by imparting stabilizing spin to saboted and rifled slugs. Precision-machined from 304 high-stress stainless steel with a low-glare matte black finish, this replacement choke is built for hunters who want rifle-like accuracy out of their 20 gauge shotgun at 70 to 100 yard slug ranges.

A 1 in 35 right-hand rifle twist inside the tube grips the slug jacket and stabilizes it in flight, substantially tightening groups compared to a smoothbore slug barrel. The internal groove diameter measures .620 inch for proper engagement with 20 gauge sabot and rifled slug projectiles, and the tube protrudes .625 to 1.3 inches beyond the muzzle of the host barrel depending on the specific shotgun model.

This choke is cut to the standard Winchester/Browning Invector thread pattern and fits Winchester, Browning, Mossberg, Savage, and Weatherby shotguns that use original Invector-style choke threading. It is not compatible with the longer Invector Plus or other proprietary choke systems.
