Caldwell Super Mag Plus Recoil Shield Tan Cloth w/Leather Pad Ambidextrous

The Caldwell Super Mag Plus Recoil Shield is a purpose-built shotgun accessory designed to dramatically reduce felt recoil during extended range sessions or heavy magnum shooting. Built around a 1" thick heart-shaped, energy-absorbing pad, the Super Mag Plus delivers approximately 40 cubic inches of coverage to spread the load across the shoulder and protect the shooter from the punishing push of high-performance shotgun loads.

The shield is finished in a soft suede leather cover on both faces, allowing the tan pad to conform comfortably to the body while securing the gun in place to eliminate any unwanted sliding during firing. Caldwell recommends the Super Mag Plus for calibers greater than .338 and the light magnums, making it an ideal choice for turkey loads, waterfowl magnums, and other high-recoil shotgun applications.

Designed for ambidextrous use, the shield features a snap closure with a back security adjustment strap to keep it firmly in position throughout a shooting session. The combination of a cloth body and leather pad construction provides both comfort and durability in a lightweight package weighing just 0.75 lbs.
