The Caldwell Mag Plus Recoil Shield is a padded shooting-bench accessory built to absorb energy and reduce felt recoil from high-recoil firearms. Constructed with a tan cloth body backed by a leather pad, the shield lays across a shooting bench or rest so the firearm sits on a cushioned face instead of directly on a hard surface.

A 1/2" energy-absorbing pad cushions the firearm across a broad contact area, helping to tame the sharp impulse generated by heavier magnum loads. The Mag Plus delivers the same recoil-reducing performance as Caldwell's original Mag Shield, but with a larger surface area for better coverage during extended range sessions.

The shield is ambidextrous and rated for firearms chambered in calibers up to .300 Winchester Magnum. Its tan cloth-and-leather construction keeps a low profile on the bench and is built specifically for recoil reduction.
